Prayers for the happy repose of his soul will be included in this Saturday evenings mass at 7.30pm in The church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary, Newmarket on Fergus.

Owen bequeathed his body to the anatomy department of NUI Galway School of Medicine.  Much of the teaching and research in human anatomy is utterly dependant on the generosity of spirit of those who donate their bodies to Medical Science.
