November and remembering the Holy Souls.

November is a time for remembering and praying for our loved ones who have gone before us and whose loss we feel. It is a time when we are particularly conscious of those in our parishes who are grieving and all those families who have lost loved ones in the past year. Here in Newmarket on Fergus Parish we mark this time of year with the blessing of the graves, the celebration of remembrance services as well as commemorating All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day. Blessing of the Parish Graveyards

Priests’ cemetery will be blessed immediately after Mass at 10.00 on the 1st of November

The following graveyards will be blessed on Sunday the 6th of November:

1.00pm: Kilnasoolagh

1.30pm: Kilmaleery

2.00pm: Lemenagh

2.30pm: Clonloghan

3.00pm: Kilconry

 

On Sunday the 13th of November the following Graveyards will be blessed:

1.30pm: Bunratty

2.00pm: Drumline

2.30pm: Fenloe

3.00pm: Ballycar Killeen

 

Mass of Remembrance for all who died and were buried in the Parish this year.

Our annual Mass of Remembrance for all who died and were buried in the Parish this year will take place on Wednesday the 23rd of November at 19.30 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Newmarket on Fergus.

Ní imithe uainn atá siad, ach imithe romhainn.
