Over the next number of weeks many children from our parish will receive the Eucharist for the first time. We keep them and their families in our prayers. Last weekend the children from Scoil Na Maighdine Mhuire and from Ballycar School received the Eucharist for the first time. We wish them and their families every blessing and we pray that they continue to grow in faith and in their relationship with Jesus. We also take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the work of their teachers and their school communities in supporting the children of our parish with regard to their faith education both in the classroom and through the dynamic living out of their catholic ethos.
