Centenary Commemoration of the death of 1914 Hurler, Jim Guerin

Jim Guerin was the scorer of 3 goals in the 1914 All Ireland final and one of the finest hurlers ever from this parish. He died only four years after that triumph, a victim of the Spanish flu epidemic. Join us for a commemoration of the centenary of his death at his final resting place. Fenloe graveyard, 3pm on Sunday December 16th.
